Reflection on the role of physicians in health education is a recent development. Discussion of the role of pharmacists is even more recent. This is why there is little French-language literature on these topics. Our literature review thus led us to identify a majority of fairly general references on health education and patient education. The first part of this “Learn More” section provides a list of references outlining the policy framework, followed by references to practice guidelines and recommendations. The second section presents organizations offering documentary resources for healthcare professionals or dedicated to advancing the role of professionals in health education. The third section lists degree and non-degree programs in health education and patient education, and finally, the last section highlights journals and educational tools.[article excerpt]
