Cancer: The Situation in France and the European Context
With 28% of all deaths, cancer is the second leading cause of death in France. Partly due to the aging population, new cases have increased by 36% over the past 20 years, but deaths have decreased by 8% thanks to improvements in screening and treatment. (R.A.)
