“We must seize this critical moment to intervene early” [Interview]

In response to severe cases of intoxication among 15- to 25-year-olds, an innovative follow-up program has been implemented in the emergency department of the Lille University Hospital. It involves a brief intervention at the hospital and follow-up support by phone in the days that follow. This early intervention, which avoids making young people feel guilty, aims to prevent the recurrence of risky behavior.
