Seminar in memory of Ms. Virginie Ferré, member of the National Reference Centers (NRC) Committee from 2012 to 2022
The 10th seminar of the National Reference Centers (CNR), organized by Santé publique France in collaboration with the CNR Committee, took place on October 19, 2023, at the Novotel in Charenton-le-Pont (94).
The event brought together 147 participants, including representatives from the CNRs, members of the CNR Committee, and staff from Santé publique France, the Ministry of Health, and other health agencies involved in the surveillance and control of infectious diseases.
This seminar, opened by Dr. Grégory Emery, Director General of Health, and Dr. Caroline Semaille, Director General of Santé publique France, allowed the attending CNR experts to discuss their experiences in carrying out their missions and current developments that could impact them.
The event also served as an opportunity to present the call for applications for the designation of European Reference Laboratories, to anticipate the impact of the 2024 Olympic Games on NRL activities, and to discuss future developments in the NRLs’ contribution to surveillance and early warning systems.
