Key Points 

In Week 20 (May 11–17, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased among children under 2 years of age and remained stable in other age groups.

There was an increase in procedures across all age groups for asthma attacks (+14%, or +143 procedures) and upper respiratory tract conditions (+10%, or +2,105 procedures), as well as for bronchiolitis in children under 1 year of age (+43%, or +54 procedures).

Among those aged 75 and older, there was an increase in cases for:

  • Isolated fever (+46%, or +28 cases).
  • Falls (+19%, or +33 cases), trauma (+15%, or +57 cases).

Finally, there was an increase in procedures for chickenpox among children and those aged 15–74 (+23%, or +173 procedures) and skin conditions among children under 2 years of age (+26%, or +31 procedures).
