Key Points

In Week 11 (March 9–15, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics continued to rise among 2- to 14-year-olds (+16%, or +3,045 visits) since the end of school break. Activity remained stable in other age groups compared to the previous week.

We observe a continued increase in cases among children and adults for:

  • Asthma attacks: among 2- to 14-year-olds (+52%, or +170 cases) and among adults (+22%, or +146 cases).

  • Upper respiratory tract conditions: among children under 15 only (+24%, or +2,524 cases).

  • Allergies: across all age groups except children under 2 years old (+10%, or +216 cases), at levels higher than in previous years.

There was also a continued rise in indicators for digestive disorders among children:

  • Gastroenteritis (+9%, or +184 cases) among 2- to 14-year-olds.

  • Vomiting (+12%, or +34 cases) among children under 15.

  • Acute abdominal pain (+7%, or +33 cases) among 2- to 14-year-olds.
