Cholera
The last case of cholera detected in Mayotte on July 12, 2024, was an imported case. No local transmission has been detected since July 8.
Acute gastroenteritis
Rotavirus is circulating in the region, with the number of cases remaining low.
Typhoid fever
Between January 1 and August 9, 2024, 47 cases of typhoid fever confirmed by blood culture and/or stool culture were reported.
Dengue
Decrease in the number of dengue cases detected in Mayotte since Week 24 of 2024 (early June).
Acute respiratory infections
Over the past four weeks, no biologically confirmed cases of infection with an influenza virus or respiratory syncytial virus have been identified in Mayotte.
Rhinovirus has been the predominant respiratory virus for several months.
