Lower Respiratory Tract Infections
In hospitals: The rate of emergency department visits for acute lower respiratory tract infections (ALRTIs) remained stable, accounting for 2.7% of total activity. The number of emergency department visits for ALRTIs continued to decline, with 1,705 visits (-8.0%).
In the community: At SOS Médecins, the number of procedures also declined, with 957 procedures (-25.4%). The activity rate for lower respiratory tract infections decreased to 9.5% (-1.5 percentage points).
Influenza and Influenza-Like Illness
Indicators for influenza-like illnesses were down sharply across all age groups, both in private practice and in hospitals. In emergency departments, visits for influenza-like illness accounted for less than 1% of activity. In SOS Médecins data, the share of activity for influenza-like illness accounted for less than 3% of procedures.

COVID-19
SOS Médecins: The number of cases for suspected COVID-19 decreased in S09 across all age groups. The total remained low at 26 cases.
Emergency room visits: The number of emergency room visits for suspected COVID-19 remained stable in S09, reflecting a decrease among those under 15 and an increase among those 15 and older. The total number of visits remained low at 59.
SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater: In Week 9, an overall downward trend in the level of SARS-CoV-2 circulation in wastewater was observed (6 of the 7 wastewater treatment plants have interpretable results).
Acute gastroenteritis
In general, indicators related to gastroenteritis in emergency departments and primary care practices show irregular trends in Île-de-France; this week, a decrease in cases of acute gastroenteritis was observed. This trend needs to be confirmed given the current school vacation period.
