Flu-like Illnesses and Acute Respiratory Infections

  • In both hospital and outpatient settings, indicators of healthcare utilization for influenza-like illness were declining in the Île-de-France region across all age groups for the sixth consecutive week.

  • The distribution of influenza virus types and subtypes has not undergone any major changes in recent weeks.

Acute Gastroenteritis (AGE)

  • Stabilization in emergency department visits and hospitalizations for AGE across all age groups.

  • Increase in the number of AED-related visits at SOS Médecins across all age groups.

  • The incidence rate for acute diarrhea consultations at sentinel clinics has stabilized.

  • In Week 10, activity in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins for AGE remained at a high level and exceeded the 2024 trends for the same period of the year.

COVID-19

  • SOS Médecins: In Week 10, the number of cases for suspected COVID-19 remained stable across all age groups. Case numbers remained low.

  • Emergency department visits: In Week 10, the number of visits for suspected COVID-19 increased slightly across all age groups, with the exception of those aged 45–64. However, case numbers remained low.
