Key Points

COVID-19

  • Low activity.

  • In Week 21, the incidence rate (IR) and positivity rate (PR) remained stable at low levels, against a backdrop of very low testing rates (TR).

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Low activity. Decrease in emergency room visits, mainly among those aged 15–74, and in SOS Médecins consultations across all age groups.

Asthma

  • Stabilization of emergency department visits across all age groups in week 20. The monitored indicators are close to seasonal averages.

ENT conditions

  • Decrease in ENT conditions in hospital emergency departments and SOS Médecins consultations. Slight decrease in the detection of rhinoviruses/enteroviruses by the Virology Laboratory at the Brest University Hospital (11/51, positivity rate of 22%).
