  • Trends in heat-related morbidity indicators from August 18, 2023, to August 24, 2023:

    • moderate increase in the proportion of emergency room visits among all age groups and those aged 75 and older for the composite heatwave indicator (iCanicule);

    • an increase in hospitalizations following emergency department visits for the composite heatwave indicator (iCanicule) among coded visits for all age groups and those aged 75 and older;

    • an increase (small numbers) in the proportion of SOS Médecins calls for all age groups and those aged 75 and older, with a return on 08/24/23 to pre-heatwave levels (1 call, 0.3% of activity).
