Influenza

  • Influenza-related activity for SOS Médecins is at the same level as in previous seasons during the same period.

  • Influenza activity in emergency departments is within the usual range.

  • Surveillance of severe influenza cases (all ages) admitted to intensive care began in week 40. Currently, no cases have been reported.

COVID-19

  • Active circulation in primary care and hospitals.

  • The number of consultations for suspected COVID-19 is decreasing this week, as is the proportion of COVID-19 activity in the total number of SOS Médecins cases (4.3% compared to 7.1% in Week 1).

  • The 15–44 age group remains the most represented (62.3%).

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity among SOS Médecins associations for acute gastroenteritis is low and within the range typically observed during this same period.

  • Emergency department activity for gastroenteritis is low and within the range typically observed during this same period.
