Health Monitoring in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Bulletin of October 2, 2025.
Key Points
COVID-19
Signs of a decline in cases in the community and in hospitals
The rates of suspected Covid-19 cases are trending downward in outpatient settings and hospitals: 0.6% of emergency department visits (vs. 0.7% in Week 1) and 2.6% of SOS Médecins calls (vs. 3.1% in Week 1).
A steady increase in SARS-CoV-2 detection in wastewater (at 4 treatment plants in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté) has been observed since mid-July.
The impact remains limited within the healthcare system and is lower than that of October 2024.
Non-specific surveillance (SurSaUD®)
No unusual increase in all-cause activity at SOS Médecins clinics and emergency departments. Indicators remain at the levels observed during the same period in the two previous summer seasons.
