Key Points

Arboviral diseases (Chikungunya, dengue, and Zika)

  • Enhanced surveillance begins on May 1.

Allergies

  • Slight increase in weeks 15 and 16 (April 8–21, 2024) in the number of allergy cases diagnosed by SOS Médecins and in SOS Médecins’ activity share.

Acute respiratory infections (bronchiolitis, COVID-19, and influenza)

  • Activity continues to decline at a moderate rate. Low number of ARI outbreaks in long-term care facilities (LTCFs).

Notifiable diseases

  • Monthly monitoring of cases of hepatitis A, invasive meningococcal disease, Legionnaires’ disease, and measles.

All-cause mortality

  • During the month of April, a non-significant excess of all-cause mortality was observed in week 15 (April 8–14).
