Health Monitoring in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region. Update as of June 16, 2022.

Key Points

COVID-19

In Week 23, the rise in SARS-CoV-2 infection rates that began in Week 22 accelerated (+50%) to reach 280 per 100,000 residents in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The impact on hospitals remains limited, with a very slight decline in indicators suggesting the beginning of stabilization after several weeks of sharp decline.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Oscour® network: activity for gastroenteritis across all age groups is low in S23. The number of visits across all age groups for a diagnosis of gastroenteritis is stable compared to the past 3 weeks, representing 1.2% of total activity. The share of these visits in total activity across all age groups is comparable to that observed in 2020–21 and higher than in 2019–20 during the same period.

  • SOS Médecins: Activity for gastroenteritis across all age groups is low in Week 23, at 4.5%.

  • Sentinelles network: the incidence rate of acute diarrhea cases seen in general practice was 48 per 100,000 inhabitants (95% CI [19; 77]) in week 23, a slight increase compared to the previous three weeks.
