The SI-DEP data presented in this epidemiological update are based solely on antigen tests (TAG) conducted from January 8 to 14, 2023 (compared to the 7-day rolling period from January 1 to 7, 2023).
In Guadeloupe, the epidemiological situation regarding SARS-CoV-2 was favorable, with an incidence rate of less than 50 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the 7-day rolling period from January 8 to 14, 2023. Among age groups, only those aged 30–39 and 40–49 had an incidence rate exceeding 50 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
In S02, hospital indicators were relatively low.
Saint Martin
Against a backdrop of an 11% increase in testing, only four people tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 over the 7-day rolling period from January 8 to 14, 2022. The positivity rate decreased by 5.3 percentage points compared to the 7-day rolling period from January 1 to 7, 2023.
As of January 18, 2023, three emergency room visits for COVID-19 were recorded, and no new hospitalizations for COVID-19 were reported in SIVIC in S02.
Saint-Barthélemy
Two people tested positive over the 7-day rolling period from January 8 to 14, 2023, representing a 37% decrease in testing.
The situation remains calm in hospitals. No new hospital admissions were recorded in S02.
