Alzheimer's Disease: A Survey of French People's Knowledge, Opinions, and Behaviors.

According to a survey conducted by INPES in 2010, more than a quarter of French people have known or currently know someone in their circle of friends and family who has Alzheimer’s disease. Among these individuals, one-third report that they are currently or have previously served as caregivers, assisting with daily living activities. Nearly three-quarters of caregivers provide care on a regular basis. Furthermore, nine out of ten people would like to be informed of the diagnosis if they exhibited symptoms suggestive of Alzheimer's disease.
