Key findings: The proportion of students reporting that they brush their teeth more than once a day, in accordance with recommendations, is high and increased significantly between 2010 and 2014 (69.0% vs. 77.8%). This increase came from the group that was already brushing their teeth once a day; girls brush their teeth significantly more often than boys; the proportion of students with very poor habits (brushing less than once a day) has changed little, remaining around 4%; the oral health score is closely linked to the frequency of tooth brushing.
