Activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable over the past week across all age groups, both nationally and regionally, at a level comparable to that of 2011 and 2012. Note that there was a decrease in activity among 5- to 14-year-olds (-21%), likely due to school holidays.

The gastroenteritis indicator is down (-12%, 2,389 cases) across all age groups. Activity related to this indicator is lower than in 2012. There was an increase in this indicator among those aged 75 and older (+34%, 130 cases). Activity related to asthma attacks is down across all age groups (-14%, 479 cases). The number of cases is lower than in 2012 and matches that of 2011. The influenza indicator is down across all age groups (-12%, 331 cases). Activity related to this indicator remains comparable to 2011 and 2012. Calls to SOS Médecins for bronchitis and pneumonia are stable across all age groups, with 1,958 and 315 cases, respectively, over the period. Activity related to these two indicators is comparable to 2011 and 2012. Among children under 2 years of age, the bronchiolitis indicator is stable at a level comparable to 2011 and 2012.

The most common conditions across all age groups remain ENT conditions (nasopharyngitis: 3,660 cases; tonsillitis: 2,379 cases) and lower respiratory tract infections (2,830 cases).
