Key Points

In week 43 (October 20–26, 2025), the first week of the All Saints’ Day break, activity at SOS Médecins clinics saw a slight increase among children under 2 and adults aged 75 and older (+5%, or 336 and 357 visits, respectively), a decrease among children aged 2–14 (-18%, or 3,667 visits), and remained stable among those aged 15–74.

These increases were spread across various indicators. Of particular note is an increase in cases:

  • Among children under 2 years of age: for diarrhea (+33%, or +27 visits), viral syndrome (+24%, or +26 visits), isolated fever (+10%, or +20 visits), and among those under 1 year of age, for bronchiolitis (+17%, or +15 visits).

  • Among adults aged 75 and older: for bronchitis (+17%, or +73 visits) and influenza/flu-like syndrome (+17%, or +15 visits), as well as for urinary tract infection (+13%, or +35 visits) and acute abdominal pain (+12%, or +18 visits).

In addition, there was an increase in procedures among children aged 2–14 for chickenpox (+48%, or +85 procedures) and among those aged 65 and older for anxiety (+20%, or +35 procedures) and for depression (+48%, or +12 procedures).
