SOS Médecins National Newsletter, October 11, 2011

Nationwide and across different geographic regions, SOS Médecins’ activity—across all diagnoses—has remained stable for the second consecutive week, and this holds true for all age groups.

The seasonal indicators being tracked are stable; however, there has been a slight increase in diagnoses of gastroenteritis among children under 15 (+16%). ENT conditions (nasopharyngitis, otitis, laryngitis/tracheitis, and tonsillitis) account for 35% of diagnoses in this age group (graphs not shown).

Among adults over 15 years of age, all indicators have remained stable over the past week,

Influenza diagnoses are also stable at less than 1% of the activity reported by the associations.

Death indicators have remained stable over the period.
