Starting this week, we are presenting the seasonal indicators typically tracked in the fall and winter. SOS Médecins activity has stabilized over this period across all age groups, at a level slightly higher than in 2012 and 2011. Only the Île-de-France-Centre region continues to see a slight increase in activity. The gastroenteritis indicator is stable across all age groups, with case numbers higher than in 2011 and comparable to 2012. An increase in this indicator is noted in the Île-de-France-Centre and Northeast regions. The asthma attack indicator has decreased slightly across all age groups for the first time since early September, reaching a level between those of 2011 and 2012. This decrease primarily affects children aged 5–14. The influenza indicator remains stable, at a low level comparable to 2011 and 2012. However, there has been an increase in the number of cases among children under 15 (+23%, 51 cases). Among children under 2 years of age, following a slight increase in the number of bronchiolitis cases in late September, this indicator has stabilized over the past week (107 cases). The indicator for isolated fever is stable across all age groups, with numbers comparable to 2011 and 2012. An increase in this indicator is observed among children under 15 (+18%, 600 cases). Among those under 15, there has been an increase in cases of tonsillitis (+17%, 1,391 cases) and viral syndromes (+23%, 387 cases). The main diagnoses reported involve ENT conditions (nasopharyngitis, otitis, laryngitis/tracheitis).Among those aged 15 and older, acute lower respiratory infections have increased slightly (+15%, 1,954 cases), including bronchitis (+18%, 1,440 cases). There has also been a slight increase in cases of tonsillitis (+13%, 1,288 cases).
