Activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased over the past weekend, possibly due to the long weekend, both nationally and in the regions. This trend mainly affects people aged 15–74 (+11%) and those aged 75 and older (+17%). However, the overall level of activity is comparable to that of 2011 and 2012. Among those aged 75 and older, there was an increase in respiratory conditions: bronchitis (+31%, +82 cases), pneumonia (+22%, +32 cases), and influenza (+20%, +12 cases). Among those aged 15 and older, there was an increase in sore throats (+15%, +200 cases), lower respiratory tract infections (+17%, +301 cases), and bronchitis (+12%, +14 cases). The gastroenteritis indicator remained stable over the past week and accounted for 5% of the associations’ overall activity, with case numbers comparable to 2012. The influenza indicator is rising for all age groups aged 5 and older (+26%, +86 cases); case numbers remain low within expected seasonal ranges, comparable to 2011 and 2012. Calls to SOS Médecins for asthma attacks are on the rise (+14%, +69 cases); this trend primarily affects adults aged 15 and older. Activity levels related to this indicator are slightly higher than in 2012. The bronchitis indicator is stable over the period across all age groups, with case numbers comparable to 2012. The pneumonia indicator is on the rise (+21%) over the period across all age groups, with numbers comparable to 2012. However, this increase is observed among adults. Among children under 2 years of age, diagnoses of bronchiolitis are on the rise (+33%, +48 cases), at a level comparable to 2012. The main conditions reported across all age groups remain ENT conditions: nasopharyngitis (3,526 cases), tonsillitis (2,943 cases), and lower respiratory tract infections (3,076 cases). Note an increase in urinary tract infections among adults (27%).
