Overall Activity Trends: Overall activity at SOS Médecins clinics remains stable across all age groups except for children aged 5–14, where there has been a slight increase in the number of weekly visits (+12%, or +642 visits). The total number of visits (52,272 weekly visits across all age groups) is similar to that of 2012 and 2013 during this time of year.

Trends in Major Conditions The leading cause of visits among adults is gastroenteritis (+14%, or +271 visits). Acute abdominal pain is also on the rise (+7%). In addition, there has been an increase in visits for anxiety among adults (+17%, or +123 visits). Among children under 15, gastroenteritis is the second most common reason for seeking care, after nasopharyngitis. Also worth noting is an increase in acute abdominal pain (+23%) and vomiting (+15%) among children.

Trends in Seasonal Indicators The number of visits for gastroenteritis is increasing across all age groups, particularly among children under 15 (+40%, or +428 visits). With 3,653 weekly visits across all age groups, the numbers exceed those of 2012 and 2013. This increase is observed in all regions. Consultations for pneumonia are down 30% among children (-26 visits) and among those over 75 (-61 visits), and down 13% among adults aged 15–74 (-20 visits), with numbers comparable to those in 2012 and 2013. Visits for asthma remained stable among children and decreased among adults over 15 years of age (-16%, or -61 visits). The total number of visits for asthma (629 visits) was comparable to that of 2012 and slightly higher than that of 2013. Consultations for bronchitis decreased across all age groups (-11%, or -251 visits). This decline was primarily observed among children under 5 and adults aged 15–74. The total number of visits for bronchitis (2,110 visits) is comparable to that of 2012 and slightly higher than that of 2013. Visits for influenza/flu-like illness and isolated fever remained stable across all age groups.
