Key Points

In Week 44 (October 27–November 2, 2025), the second week of the All Saints’ Day school break, activity at SOS Médecins clinics decreased compared to the previous week among children, particularly those aged 2–14 (-10%, or 1,666 fewer visits), and remained stable among adults.

However, there was an increase in cases:

  • Among children under 15: for trauma (+21%, or +90 cases), chickenpox for the second consecutive week (+19%, or +61 cases) with higher numbers than in the previous three years, and dermatological issues (+22%, or +79 cases),

  • among children under 2 years of age: for asthma attacks (+29%, or +25 visits) and bronchitis (+11%, or +24 visits), while visits for bronchiolitis among children under 1 year of age remained stable compared to the previous week,

  • among children aged 2–14: for gastroenteritis (+9%, or +95 visits) and dental/ENT issues (+29%, or +36 visits),

  • among adults aged 15–74: for conjunctivitis (+14%, or +55 visits) and among those aged 45–64, for anxiety (+24%, or +63 visits) and depression (+16%, or +12 visits),

  • among those aged 75 and older for trauma (+7%, or 26 visits), falls (+8%, or +14 visits), and low back pain/sciatica (+8%, or +21 visits).
