Activity at SOS Médecins clinics remains stable, at a level comparable to previous seasons, both nationally and regionally, across all age groups. However, there has been an increase in activity among children under 15 (+24%) and under 5 (+33%); this trend is also observed in the emergency departments of the Oscour® network. Activity related to gastroenteritis is stable, with numbers slightly higher than in the two previous seasons; an increase is noted among those under 15 years of age (+18%). The asthma indicator is rising sharply, exceeding levels from 2010 and 2011 for the same period, and primarily affects children aged 4–14 (+74% among those under 15); this trend is also observed in the emergency departments of the Oscour® network. The influenza indicator is rising slightly (+14%, 536 cases); this trend is observed among those under 14 years of age (+37%) and among those over 75 years of age (+47%). The bronchiolitis indicator among children under 2 is rising (+33% in diagnoses among children under 2), with numbers comparable to 2011 for the same period. The death rate is stable and comparable to 2011 over the period. The main conditions observed across all age groups are ENT and respiratory conditions. Among children under 15, there is a marked increase in nasopharyngitis (+49%), otitis (+46%), laryngitis (+68%), and bronchitis (+86%). This increase in healthcare utilization among children under 15 for respiratory and ENT conditions is also observed in the emergency departments of the Oscour® network.
