Following a sharp increase in week 46, respiratory indicators continue to rise.

In particular, visits for influenza/flu-like illness are rising across all age groups (+27%, or +757 visits), moving influenza from 6th to 3rd place in the ranking of the most common conditions.

Among 2- to 14-year-olds, the increase in visits observed the previous week also continued, but at a more moderate pace and at levels lower than or equal to previous years:

• Upper respiratory tract conditions (+10%, or +1,118 visits).

• Cough (+12%, or +515 cases).

• Acute bronchitis (+12%, or +139 cases).

• Pneumonia (+14%, or +44 cases).

Among adults, acute bronchitis and pneumonia are declining, while procedures for upper respiratory tract conditions are stabilizing.

Procedures for viral syndrome are also on the rise among 2- to 14-year-olds (+27%, or +129 procedures). Other
indicators are stable or declining across all age groups.
