Summary

In week 46 (November 12–18), the second week following the All Saints’ Day holiday, total activity at SOS Médecins clinics rose sharply among children (+25%, or +4,858 visits), while it continued to decline among adults (-7%, or -3,408 visits).

In line with overall activity, the past week saw an increase in visits among children under 15 for: - respiratory conditions (bronchitis +66%, bronchiolitis +58%, pneumonia +61%, asthma attacks +93% only among 2-14-year-olds), - gastrointestinal symptoms (gastroenteritis +12%, acute abdominal pain +10% and vomiting +8% only among 2-14-year-olds), - viral syndrome (+32%), isolated fever (+19%), and infectious conjunctivitis (+15%). All indicators are at levels consistent with those of previous years
