Overall Activity Trends: Over the past week, SOS Médecins activity nationwide remained stable compared to the previous week, both across all age groups and by age group. The number of cases is comparable to that of the same period in the previous two years.

Trends in Seasonal Indicators Indicators for asthma attacks and allergies have increased by 34% (+126 cases) and 10% (+86 cases), respectively. This increase is primarily observed among children: +75%, or +123 asthma diagnoses, and +19%, or +65 allergy diagnoses. The numbers for these two indicators are close to those observed in 2012 and 2013. Regionally, the upward trend in allergies is noted in the Central-East and Northeast regions, while that of asthma attacks is observed primarily in the West and Central-East regions. Consultations for heat-related diagnoses were recorded between May 18 and 21, with numbers remaining low and comparable to those of previous years during this period. Gastroenteritis diagnoses remained stable across all age groups over the past week, except among people aged 75 and older, who saw a 30% increase (+25 diagnoses). Case numbers are comparable to those in 2012 and 2013. This indicator accounts for 5% of the overall activity of SOS Médecins associations.

Main Conditions Reported Among children under 15, all major conditions are on the rise and primarily involve the ENT system. Among adults, there was a slight increase in consultations for acute abdominal pain. Among people aged 75 or older, there was also an increase in diagnoses of urinary tract infections (+24%, +28 consultations) and changes in general health status (+16%, +34 cases).
