Overall Activity Trends Over the past week, SOS Médecins activity nationwide has decreased by 12% (6,242 fewer consultations). This trend is observed across all monitored age groups and regions. The numbers are similar to those recorded in 2012 and 2013 for the same period.
Trends in seasonal indicators: The asthma attack indicator has decreased (-17%, -85 diagnoses) across all monitored age groups. Case numbers are similar to those observed in 2012 and 2013. Allergy diagnoses remain stable compared to the previous week across all age groups. The numbers are comparable to those of 2012 and 2013. Gastroenteritis diagnoses are down across all age groups over the past week (-12%, -294 diagnoses). Case numbers are comparable to those in 2012 and 2013. This indicator accounts for 5% of the overall activity of SOS Médecins associations.
Main Conditions Reported All commonly reported conditions are down over the period, which is consistent with the overall decline in activity observed. Across all age groups, the main diagnoses reported are ENT infections (tonsillitis, nasopharyngitis, otitis) and gastroenteritis.
