SOS Médecins activity over the past week has increased (+18%) both nationally and regionally, and across all age groups, with the exception of the Île-de-France region, where overall activity remains stable. The number of SOS Médecins calls nationwide is slightly higher than in 2011 and 2012. The asthma attack indicator is on the rise (+31%, 581 cases per week) across all age groups, particularly among children; it accounts for 1% of total activity at SOS Médecins, with numbers slightly higher than in 2011 and 2012. SOS Médecins activity related to allergies is on the rise (+28%, 781 cases per week), particularly among children (45% among those under 15, +109 cases). This indicator accounts for 1.5% of the associations’ total activity, with case numbers higher than in 2011 and 2012. The gastroenteritis indicator remained stable across all age groups over the past week, at a level very slightly higher than in 2011 and 2012 for the same period. It accounts for 6% of the associations’ total activity. The measles indicator remains stable at a low level. The death indicator is stable over the period, with figures close to those of 2011 and 2012 for the same period. Over the past week, the main conditions reported across all age groups were tonsillitis (+34%, 3,102 cases), nasopharyngitis (+11%, 2,877 cases), and gastroenteritis (-2%, 2,278 cases). There has been an increase in urinary tract infections across all age groups (+35%, 1,552 cases). Among children under 15, there has been an increase in cases of chickenpox (+28%, 498 weekly cases).
