The Saint-Quentin chapter in the Aisne department (northern region) is joining the SurSaUD® program starting this week. The summer seasonal indicators have been activated for the past week and will remain in effect for approximately three months.

Activity at SOS Médecins associations remains stable over the period for all age groups nationwide, with numbers comparable to those in 2012 and 2011 for the same period. After a peak in activity in week 23, the asthma attack indicator declined over the past week (-28%, 508 weekly cases) to a level that remains higher than in 2012 and 2011. This indicator accounts for less than 1% of the associations’ overall activity. The allergy indicator has also declined slightly over the period (-13%, 813 weekly cases); it remains at a level higher than in 2012 and 2011 and accounts for 1.5% of SOS Médecins’ activity. Calls to SOS Médecins for gastroenteritis rose slightly over the period (+10%, 1,809 weekly cases); this increase applies to those aged 5–14 and those aged 75 and older. Seasonal indicators: Diagnoses of heatstroke and dehydration rose slightly, with numbers higher than in 2012 and 2011. The indicator for general malaise is stable, with numbers comparable to 2012 and 2011. The indicator for deaths is stable and comparable to 2012 and 2011. The most common conditions across all age groups remain ENT diagnoses (tonsillitis, nasopharyngitis, and otitis).
