Activity at SOS Médecins clinics has remained stable nationwide and across regions for the past three weeks, with patient numbers comparable to those in 2012 and 2011 for the same period. This trend holds true for all age groups. The asthma attack indicator has risen over the past week (+45%, 707 weekly cases) to a level higher than in 2011 and 2012 and affects children and adults under 75 years of age. Activity related to this indicator accounts for 2% of SOS Médecins’ total activity. This increase in asthma attack diagnoses is observed particularly in the western and central-eastern regions. The allergy indicator is rising sharply (+72%, 933 weekly cases). This increase is observed among children over 2 years of age and especially among adults under 75 years of age. Activity related to this indicator accounts for 2% of the associations’ total activity, with staffing levels comparable to 2012 and higher than in 2011.This increase is observed in all regions except the Southeast. The gastroenteritis indicator is declining (-12%, 1,648 weekly cases); it accounts for 4% of the associations’ total activity, with numbers comparable to 2012 and 2011. This decrease applies to all age groups and nearly all regions. The death indicator is stable and comparable in numbers to 2011 and 2012. The main conditions observed across all age groups remain ENT diagnoses (nasopharyngitis, tonsillitis, and otitis). Among children under 15, there is a slight increase in isolated fevers (+11%, 562 cases).
