Key Points
In Week 27 (July 1–7, 2024), activity at SOS Médecins clinics declined, with a more pronounced decrease among children (-8%) than among adults (-4%).
Most of the most common conditions, which serve as seasonal indicators, are on the decline. Among respiratory indicators, the following are particularly notable:
a decrease in cases of whooping cough among children (-11%, or -24 cases), for the first time in several weeks, with stability among adults, though these cases remain at levels significantly higher than in previous years;
a continued decline in cases of suspected COVID-19 across all age groups, with stabilization (+7%, or +15 cases) among those aged 75 and older.
Among other indicators, the following are noted among adults, with small sample sizes:
an increase in cases due to vomiting (+15%, or +40 cases);
among those aged 15–74, an increase in cases due to dehydration (81%, with 20 cases vs. 11 in S26);
among those aged 15–44 and those aged 65 and older, an increase in cases for depressive states (respectively +24% and +68%, or +32 cases and +17 cases), at levels similar to previous years;
among those aged 75 and older, an increase in cases of isolated fever (+20%, with 83 cases vs. 69 in S26).
