Nationwide, SOS Médecins activity remained stable over the past week across all age groups, at a level slightly higher than in 2012 and 2011 for the same period; this trend is confirmed across different geographic regions. The asthma attack indicator remained stable, with numbers between those of 2012 and 2011; a very slight increase was noted among 5- to 14-year-olds over the period (+16 weekly cases). The allergy indicator is stable at a level slightly higher than in 2012 and 2011; a slight decrease is observed among 5- to 14-year-olds (-13%, 87 cases per week).The gastroenteritis indicator is stable at a level slightly higher than in 2012 and 2011; an increase is noted among 5- to 14-year-olds and those over 75, at +11% (272 weekly cases) and +42% (115 weekly cases), respectively.
Seasonal Indicators The heatstroke indicator is rising across all age groups (+30%, 422 weekly cases), with numbers significantly higher than in 2012 and 2011. This trend is also observed in various regions, particularly the Southeast and Central-East. The dehydration indicator is also rising (+46%, 179 weekly cases), particularly among those over 75 (+58%, 131 weekly cases), with numbers higher than in 2012 and 2011. The indicator for fainting spells remains stable at a level slightly higher than in 2012 and 2011. The main diagnoses reported across all age groups are sore throats (2,451 cases per week) and ear infections (+16%, 1,998 cases per week).Among those under 15, there was an increase in calls to SOS Médecins for vomiting (+20%, 265 weekly cases), and among those over 15, an increase in acute abdominal pain (+11%, 892 weekly cases).
