Activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable nationwide over the past week across all age groups, at a level comparable to that of the same period in 2011.

Diagnoses of asthma attacks and allergies remained stable, at levels slightly higher than in 2011 for the period. Seasonal indicators showed a slight increase. Heatstroke cases are at a lower level than in the two previous seasons, while diagnoses of dehydration are at a level comparable to 2011. Consultations for insect bites are also on the rise, with higher numbers than in the two previous seasons. Diagnoses of general malaise are increasing, at a level slightly higher than in the two previous years for the same period.

The most common conditions, across all age groups and among those under 15, are tonsillitis, nasopharyngitis, ear infections, and gastroenteritis; among those over 15, there is a slight increase in urinary tract infections (+15%) (Data not shown).

The mortality rate is stable, remaining within the usual range.
