Over the past week, SOS Médecins activity has remained stable both nationally and across regions for all age groups, with case numbers comparable to those in 2012 and 2011. The asthma attack indicator has declined slightly (-15%, 268 cases per week), accounting for less than 1% of the associations’ total activity; case numbers are slightly lower than in 2012 and slightly higher than in 2011. The allergy indicator is down (-13%, 529 weekly cases) across all age groups; the indicator accounts for approximately 1% of the associations’ total activity, with case numbers slightly higher than in 2012 and 2011. Diagnoses of gastroenteritis are stable across all age groups; they account for 3% of SOS Médecins activity (1,604 weekly cases) with case numbers comparable to those in 2012 and 2011.

Seasonal indicators Calls to SOS Médecins for heatstroke are on the rise (+17%, 324 cases per week) among those aged 15 and older, with case numbers higher than in 2012 and 2011. The dehydration indicator is also on the rise, with higher numbers than in 2012 and 2011. The fainting indicator remains stable, with numbers comparable to those in 2012 and 2011.

The main conditions reported across all age groups remain sore throats, ear infections, and gastroenteritis (2,582, 1,728, and 1,620 weekly cases, respectively), although these diagnoses are currently showing a slight decline.
