Summary

In Week 28 (July 9–15), total activity at SOS Médecins clinics decreased among children (-5.7%, or -1,025 visits) and increased among adults (+4.5%, or +1,749 visits).

Among seasonal conditions, there was an increase in visits for conjunctivitis among children under 2 years of age (+38%, or +47 visits) and among adults (+8.4%, or +20 visits), as well as for burns among 2- to 14-year-olds (+24%) and among adults (+38%). The number of visits for these two conditions among children is slightly higher than in the previous two years. Visits for insect bites are also slightly up among 2- to 14-year-olds (+5%). The proportion of visits for these conditions is higher than in the previous two years across all age groups.

Non-specific indicators are stable or declining across all age groups, with the exception of visits for dehydration, which showed a slight increase (low numbers).

Among the most common conditions, the following increases in visits are noted: - for gastrointestinal symptoms in both children under 2 years of age and adults, - for trauma in those aged 15–74.

Visits for measles have decreased over the past week (1 visit compared to 9 the previous week).
