Key Points
In Week 28 (July 7–13, 2025), compared to the previous week, activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased among adults aged 75 and older (+8%, or +492 visits) and remained stable or decreased in other age groups.
Compared to the previous week, indicators related to weather conditions (heatstroke, insect bites) and those for dehydration and general malaise decreased across all age groups.
There was an increase in cases related to respiratory conditions:
suspected COVID-19 (+39%, or +163 cases) across all ages;
asthma attacks among children under 2 and those aged 15–74 (up 43% and 32%, respectively, or 19 and 106 cases);
upper respiratory tract conditions (+5%, or +462 cases) and bronchitis (+12%, or +164 cases) among adults.
There was also an increase in procedures related to acute digestive disorders:
in children under 2 years of age for diarrhea (+36%, or +27 cases) and gastroenteritis (+12%, or +34 cases);
in adults for vomiting (+22%, or +62 visits) and acute abdominal pain (+14%, or +196 visits).
Among adults, there was an increase in visits for urinary tract infections (+16%, or +303 visits), dental and ENT conditions (+8%, or +129 visits), and low back pain/sciatica (+6%, or +199 visits), as well as for anxiety among those aged 45 and older (+11%, or +48 visits).
