Key Points
In Week 08 (February 16–22), activity at SOS Médecins clinics continued to decline among 2- to 14-year-olds (-17%, or 3,175 fewer visits) and remained stable in other age groups compared to the previous week.
Respiratory indicators are all stable or declining. Only cases of bronchitis showed a slight increase among those aged 75 and older (+14%, or +53 cases), with numbers comparable to those of the previous three years.
Among other indicators, the following increases are noted:
Among children aged 2 to 14 for chickenpox (+35%, or +91 visits);
Among children for various skin conditions (+26%, or +77 procedures), as well as among those aged 15–74 (+22%, or +107 procedures);
Among adults for urinary tract infections (+10%, or +161 procedures);
Among 15- to 44-year-olds for depression (+18%, or +28 cases);
Among those aged 75 and older for trauma (+12%, or +34 procedures).
Procedures for depression and anxiety remain at levels higher than those of the previous three years among adults.
Note: Only 44 out of 60 associations submitted data for the entire week of 08. Trends therefore remain to be confirmed once the data is consolidated.
