Overall Activity Trends

Across all age groups, activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable over the past week, with patient numbers similar to those in 2011 and 2012. This stability was observed for all age groups considered, both nationally and regionally.

Trends in seasonal indicators

For the second consecutive week, calls to SOS Médecins for influenza/flu-like illness have risen sharply across all age groups (+26%, or +1,154 weekly cases across all age groups). This trend affects all geographic areas, although it is more pronounced in the Central-East, Northeast, and Southeast regions, accounting for 13%, 12%, and 10% of total activity, respectively, versus 6% to 8% in other regions. The number of cases is very close to that of 2013, with a comparable seasonal trend, but remains lower than in 2012.

Consultations for gastroenteritis are stabilizing across all age groups, though case numbers remain higher than those in 2011 and 2012 during the same period.

Other seasonal indicators (ENT infections, bronchitis, pneumonia) remained stable across all age groups over the past week, with values in line with seasonal expectations.
