Overall Activity Trends: Overall activity at SOS Médecins clinics remains stable among adults and has increased by approximately 10% among children under 15 years of age (+656 visits for children under 2; +1,522 visits for children aged 2–14). The total number of visits (62,584 weekly visits across all age groups) is slightly higher than in 2012 and 2013 for this time of year.

Trends in Major ConditionsAmong children under 2 years of age, visits for bronchiolitis, ENT infections, and bronchitis continue to rise. Among children aged 2–14, the sharpest increases are observed for gastroenteritis, bronchitis, and isolated fever. Among adults, there is a notable increase in visits for bronchitis, as well as for gastroenteritis and nasopharyngitis among adults under 75 years of age.

Trends in Seasonal Indicators Among children under 2 years of age, visits for bronchiolitis continue to rise (+30%, or +132 visits) and account for 8% of diagnoses. With 543 visits over the past week, the numbers are very close to those of 2012 and 2013. In the Île-de-France region, the epidemic began earlier, with numbers higher than in previous years and a downward trend suggesting that the peak is approaching. In the southern regions of France, numbers are still rising but remain below the peak levels of previous years. Visits for bronchitis are up 20 to 30% across all age groups (+24%, or +709 visits across all ages). With 3,652 weekly visits across all ages, case numbers are significantly higher than in 2012 and 2013. This early increase is visible in all regions, but it is particularly pronounced in the Île-de-France region. Consultations for pneumonia are up 31% among children aged 2 to 14 but are stable among adults and declining among children under 2, with numbers close to those of 2012 and 2013. Consultations for gastroenteritis are on the rise across all age groups, most notably among children under 15 years of age (+20%, or +610 visits), with a trend similar to previous years and slightly higher numbers (4,506 weekly visits). This increase is visible across all regions, but it is more pronounced in the North and West regions. Consultations for influenza are up 20% among children aged 2 to 14 and 40% among adults under 75. With 1,021 weekly visits, the numbers are very close to those of 2012 and 2013, though with a slightly earlier increase in the North region.Consultations for asthma are rising slightly (less than 10% among children aged 2 to 14 and among adults), with numbers significantly higher than those in 2012 and 2013 during the same period, especially in the Île-de-France, Northern, and Western regions.
