SOS Médecins' activity has continued to rise since September both nationally and regionally, but remains within the expected range for this time of year. Both nationally and regionally, the flu indicator is on the rise across all age groups (+30%)* and particularly among children under 15 (+54%)*. However, this trend is comparable to last year and accounts for 1% of the associations’ total activity. Among children under 2 years of age, calls for respiratory conditions and diagnoses of bronchiolitis (+7%)* continue to rise; this trend is earlier and more pronounced than in 2010 and 2009 for the same period.There has been a 15%* increase in bronchitis diagnoses across all age groups. The gastroenteritis indicator is rising (+14%)* across all age groups. This condition accounts for 7% of SOS Médecins’ activity.ENT conditions and gastroenteritis are the most common conditions across all age groups and account for 26%* of SOS Médecins’ activity. The death rate remains stable for the period. Activity related to measles remains limited.
