Between weeks 47 and 48, the total volume of activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased by 7.5%. This increase was primarily among children aged 2 to 14 (+12.5%). Activity among adults and people over 75 rose by 5.8% and 4.8%, respectively.

Over the past week, clinical flu diagnoses rose by 50% compared to the previous week. These results are primarily observed among children and adults under 65. Among people aged 65 and older, the increase is more moderate, at around 10%. Calls regarding flu-like symptoms are increasing, but at a more moderate rate (+15%). Emergency departments participating in the Oscour network are also reporting an increase in flu-related visits.

The gradual increase in the "gastroenteritis" indicator observed since early September continues. During week 48, it accounted for 18% of call reasons.

Among children under 2 years of age, calls for "bronchiolitis and respiratory conditions in infants" increased by 11% compared to the previous week. They account for half of all calls for this age group.

The number of deaths certified by the SOS Médecins associations has risen slightly compared to the previous week. Most of these deaths were recorded toward the end of week 48.
