Nationally and across regions, SOS Médecins’ activity remained stable across all age groups over the past week, though it was slightly lower than in 2010 for the same period.

Flu diagnoses are on the rise nationally and in the regions for all age groups (+21%) and particularly among children under 5 years of age (+48%)*. However, the influenza indicator accounts for 1.5% of the associations’ total activity, at levels lower than those observed in 2010. This trend is consistent with data from the Oscour® network.

The bronchiolitis indicator for children under 2 years of age remained stable over the period; however, it remained at levels higher than those of the previous two years for week 50. This trend is comparable to the data observed in the Oscour® network.

The gastroenteritis indicator, which increased over the period, is the most common diagnosis across all age groups (+11%)*. It accounts for 7% of total activity among healthcare providers and falls within expected ranges for the period.

The death indicator is stable and comparable to 2010 levels over the period.

The measles indicator is stable at a low level.
