Summary

  • In week 50, overall activity at SOS Médecins clinics showed a moderate increase across all age groups except for children under two years of age.

  • Consultations for influenza/flu-like illness continue to rise sharply (+89%) across all age groups, with a higher proportion of influenza-related activity than in the previous two years.

  • Consultations for bronchiolitis continued to rise this week, at a rate comparable to the previous two years.

  • Among adults over 15 years of age, consultations for upper respiratory tract conditions, pneumonia, and bronchitis are on the rise, with a higher proportion of coded activity than in the previous two years. These increases are more pronounced among adults aged 75 and older (+33%).

  • Consultations for gastroenteritis are stable except among those over 75 years of age (+22%), with a share of activity that remains above that of the previous two years.

  • There was an increase in consultations for asthma (+13%) among adults aged 15 and older, with a share of activity that remains comparable to the previous two years.
