Key Points
In Week 50 (December 8–14, 2025), activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased compared to the previous week among children (+9%, or +3,397 visits), with patient numbers slightly higher than in the previous three years. Activity remained stable among adults.
Among respiratory indicators, the following increases were noted, with case numbers at levels comparable to or lower than those of previous years:
All ages: influenza/influenza-like illness (+44%, or +4,870 cases, representing 15% of activity across all ages),
In children under 1 year of age: bronchiolitis (+17%, or +60 cases, representing 13% of activity for this age group) and bronchitis (+44%, or +48 cases),
In adults: pneumonia (+27%, or +314 procedures) and bronchitis (+11%, or +379 procedures).
Among other indicators, there was also an increase in medical procedures among:
2–14-year-olds for isolated fever (+22%, or +85 procedures),
15–44-year-olds for depressive disorders (+20%, or +35 cases), with case numbers higher than in the previous three years,
those aged 65 and older for anxiety (+23%, or +34 cases), with numbers higher than in the previous three years,
75 years and older for general health deterioration (+14%, or +34 procedures).
