Key Points
In week 48 (November 24–30, 2025), activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased among children (+13%, or 4,117 more visits) compared to the previous week. It remained stable among adults.
Compared to the previous week, there was an increase in respiratory indicators, with case numbers at levels comparable to or lower than those of previous years:
Upper respiratory tract conditions (+15%, or 4,241 cases), bronchitis (+15%, or 592 cases), and asthma attacks (+20%, or 269 cases), all ages.
Influenza/flu-like illness in children under 15 (+77%, or +973 cases) and in those aged 15–74 (+41%, or +1,204 cases)
Pneumonia among 2- to 14-year-olds (+10%, or +74 cases) and adults (+16%, or +44 cases)
Bronchiolitis in children under 1 year of age (+32%, or +82 cases).
There was also an increase in visits related to digestive conditions: gastroenteritis in children under 15 (+10%, or 219 more visits), abdominal pain in children aged 2–14 (+11%, or +55 cases), and vomiting in children aged 2–14 (+15%, or +30 cases) and adults aged 15–74 (+15%, or +36 cases).
Among other indicators, there was an increase in procedures for infectious conjunctivitis among children under 15 (+18%, or +115 procedures) and those aged 15–74 (+17%, or +57 procedures), as well as for low back pain/sciatica (+16%, or +46 procedures), falls (+30%, or +46 visits), and various cardiac issues (+35%, or +42 visits) among those aged 75 and older.
