Trends in Overall ActivityOver the past week, overall activity at SOS Médecins clinics has decreased by 10% among children under 5 years of age (-657 visits) and remained stable among adults, with numbers similar to those in 2012 and 2013.
Trends in Major Conditions: The most common conditions remained stable or declined across all age groups.
Trends in seasonal indicators: Visits for asthma attacks are slightly up among adults (+12%, or +22 visits among adults under 75; +30%, or +8 visits among adults over 75) but are stable among children. With 340 weekly visits, the numbers are slightly higher than those observed in 2012 and 2013. After three weeks of continuous increase, visits for insect bites are declining across all age groups (17%, or 117 fewer visits across all ages). The number of visits (564 per week) is close to the levels observed during the 2013 peak but remains higher than in 2012. Visits for allergies remained stable across all age groups for the past week, with figures that remain higher than those for 2012 and 2013 during this period. Visits for general malaise are stable or declining across all age groups, with figures close to those of 2012 and 2013.Visits for heat-related conditions (heatstroke, dehydration) have dropped sharply for the second consecutive week across all age groups (-60%, or 59 fewer heatstroke visits across all ages), with numbers at low levels for the season.
