Summary

In week 34 (August 20–26), total activity at SOS Médecins clinics declined across all age groups (down 7% among children and adults, for a total of 3,936 fewer visits).

Seasonal conditions were either down or stable across all age groups. The levels observed were comparable to those of the past two years, both in terms of numbers and share of activity, with the exception of visits for insect bites among adults (slightly higher).

Non-specific indicators are mostly stable or declining, both among children and adults. Notable trends include a slight increase in visits for dehydration among people aged 75 and older (+18%, or +11 visits), malaise among adults aged 15–74 (+6.5%, or +13 visits), and asthma among children aged 2–14 (+20%, or +20 visits) and people aged 75 and older (+30%, or +10 visits).

The most common conditions are mostly declining or stable across all age groups. There was an increase in visits for bronchitis among both adults (+10%, or +107 visits) and children (+13%, or +37 visits).

In week 34, across all age groups, 3 visits for measles were recorded, compared to 5 in week 33.
